FOSS Lviv-2021

The International Research and Practice Conference “FOSS Lviv” will take place in Ivan Franko National University of Lviv on June, 17 – 19.

The conference is targeted at following directions:

1. Free/Open software in education;
2. Free/Open software in science;
3. Free/Open software for business;
4. Free/Open software at home.

Conference working languages are Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, Polish and English.

Developers, users, IT-managers and everybody interested in using free/open source software are invited to take part.

Tasks of FOSS Lviv are to provide effective communication and information exchange, to discuss the development perspectives of free / open source software in business, science and education, to initiate new projects of FOSS usage. Presentations and discussions are running on practical aspects of the development and uptake of software, as well as on decrease of the information systems licensing costs.

The participation in the Conference is free of charge. It is necessary to register before June 15, 2019 to take part in it (please visit the about page for more details).

Abstracts are to be submitted before June 15, 2021 to be published in the printed book of the conference materials

For participants who will not be able to come to the city for a conference, the Internet section of the conference is going to be organized by means of BigBlueButton technology. Specifications for the client setup.
The test area to check the hardware and software of Internet-section will be set up on 16 and 17 of April, 2021.
